Desai Foods Private Limited owns the Mother's Recipe, Elmac, On Spread & Dabee products. At Desai Foods, we wish to become the national leaders in the category of ethnic food. To achieve this goal, we have expanded our production capacity and are creating stronger brands while concentrating on our sales & marketing strategies and improving our supply chain management and information systems. We also have a gherkins division with a processing facility in Karnataka, from where we export gherkins and pickled vegetables to over 12 countries.
We have 3 state of the art manufacturing facilities – in Pune, Kolkata & in Bharoda.
The state-of-the-art plants have achieved ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 22000-2005 certification. We adhere to strict hygiene requirements and enforce firm quality assurance protocols at various manufacturing levels. This is done to make sure that items of the highest quality leave the plant. Our plants have an in-house testing facility fitted with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the product quality continues to reach our high standards.
